All reservations are booked for a 2-hour dining time, after which time we kindly ask for the space back to accommodate the guests joining us later.

The Sanderson welcomes diners from the age of 10 years old and above, and does not offer a children’s menu. Please be aware we are unable to accommodate prams in the venue and do not have highchairs available. For groups who are required to dine on the Banquet Menu (bookings of 8 guests or more), children will not receive an adjusted menu price or portion.

All bookings can be modified via our reservations widget up to 48 hours before your booking time. If you would like to make a change to your booking with less than 48 hours’ notice, please give us a call at (02) 7225 5559.

We understand that plans can sometimes change, so if you need to change or cancel your booking, please let us know 48 hours before your reservation time to avoid a cancellation charge of $50 per person. 

We accept all major credit cards except Diners. A surcharge fee applies for all credit card payments. 

Please note that a 15% surcharge will apply on Sundays and Public Holidays.

We are not the fashion police, however, please be aware we do require all of our guests to observe a “smart casual” dress code. If you have any questions regarding the dress code, please give us a call.

The Sanderson is a non-smoking venue, we ask patrons to vacate the venue if they wish to smoke.

Yes, we do have disabled access to The Sanderson. Please call ahead to discuss with the venue if you require access.

You are more than welcome to bring a birthday cake, we have a $7.50 per person service fee.

We can absolutely accommodate non-alcohol drinking guests and offer a few of our signature cocktails in mocktail form. The talented bartenders make all their own syrups, shrubs, and cordials in-house, and we pride ourselves on all guests having The Sanderson experience whether it’s with alcohol or not.

The Sanderson takes every possible precaution when catering to dietary requirements however cannot guarantee the absence of egg, nut, soy, milk, wheat, fish and shellfish from anything produced in our kitchen. Serious or threatening dietaries require a reservation and a minimum 48 hours’ notice prior to attending.

The Sanderson is not a BYO venue, we have a fully licensed bar with an extensive and unique range of beverages.

We are able to split bills for up to 4 cards per table.

Gift vouchers can be purchased via our website here. All vouchers are sent via PDF to the nominated email address and require 48 hours for processing. Please check your junk or spam folders for your purchased gift voucher if you have yet to receive it.

Please note gift vouchers are valid at the specific venue they have been purchased for and have a 3-year validity period. We ask that you present the voucher at time of your reservation.

RESERVATIONS

The Sanderson takes restaurant reservations for up to 12 guests which can be booked online through Seven Rooms. All our restaurant availability will be listed on Seven Rooms. If your preferred date or time isn’t available you are welcome to get in touch with us on (02) 7225 5559 or try for another date or time.

For group reservations of 8 guests or more, we kindly ask you to select one of our exclusive Signature Menus. These meticulously crafted menus start at $110 per person and are thoughtfully designed to highlight the very best of our culinary offerings. With a range of signature menu options available, you can explore our most extraordinary dishes. To ensure that our guests have ample time to enjoy this experience, we offer an extended dining time of 2.5 hours. Please note for group bookings of 8 or more guests, a discretionary service charge of 10% will be added to the bill.

For larger group bookings of 12 guests or more please complete the enquiry form below and our dedicated events team will be in touch to discuss within 24 hours. We also take private and exclusive event enquiries for outside hours and lunch bookings so please do get in touch here.
